Optomap is an innovative new technology that gives eye doctors the ability to perform ultra-wide retinal imaging that is far superior to what can currently be achieved using conventional retinal imaging options. In contrast to conventional retinal imaging,
Optical Coherence Tomography uses light waves to take cross-section images of your retina, which is the area of light-sensitive cells at the back of your eye that is responsible for receiving light and transmitting it into messages that are sent up to the brain.

First time at Bieter. Welcoming environment and staff. Dr. Rogers was extremely caring, informative and explained everything in precise detail! Bieter’s interest in the latest technology is extremely reassuring and the enhanced comprehensive exam is well worth it.
I was very impressed not only with the facility but the staff at Bieter Eye Center. I recently went in for an annual yearly eye exam as a new client at the facility in Cottage Grove. I was met with a positive and welcome staff and experience and I felt like a friend leaving the facility.
Absolutely fantastic experience!!! My daughter had an eye infection and I was given an appointment same day and taken care of so quickly. Dr Bieter was amazing and made me feel like a person. I appreciated that so much! I will be going here for all future eye needs!
Very excellent exam from Dr. Rogers. The pre exam was also done with great professionalism and she was very experienced in the operation of all the diagnostic procedures equipment usage. I also appreciated Amy’s help in the selection of a new set of frames.
My husband and I have gone to Dr. Bieter for well over 8 years now. My parents went to him, too. He is THE BEST! His staff is always polite and very friendly. He is truly concerned for his patients. This shows in how he asks lots of questions about your health to answer questions he has about what he sees in the results of your eye exam.
My glasses broke unexpectedly, and I didn’t have a backup pair because I was visiting my family from college. The whole staff was so helpful, especially Mike, who remembered me from an appointment three years prior where I picked out the glasses that broke.
Dr. Bieter and his staff have my full trust regarding my eyes. Everyone is willing and happy to take the time you need to explain everything regarding your visit. Everyone is courteous and polite. They make you feel welcomed when you walk in, not just a number. In my eyes, this is the best place to go.
Amazing experience! I hadn’t been to an eye doctor in a long time and they broke everything down to what I could understand. Kind and helpful are understatements. I could not be happier about this clinic and staff!
